neudaiz' art thread ✧

Thank you! I don’t but I think I could make some. I know some tutorials have been shared on discord and around but I’d be interested in sharing more about my own unique approach. I’m very into using shaders to play with warping and reflecting objects and how the shaders on different forms interact.
Its hard to catch wind of stuff shared around discord servers since its all private. Honestly one of the reasons I despise the way everyone uses it. I'm quite fond of forums for the same reason, its so much easier to find cool stuff here.

I think there's every reason to use this site to make a better and more accessible repository of resources and tutorials. I grew up finding info on forums and watching everything fade into the deep web of Discord has been rough. I like knowledge sharing- also really want to teach people Touchdesigner, will keep it in mind

I've been lazy about resuming my postings on here. You see, I had to log back in on Desktop, and that was a chore (it's not an excuse forgive me my friends).

I've been active and I have a backlog of stuff to post here, including behind-the-scenes of my Dreamscape collabs. This will happen. I have personal art to post too.
I also VJed a few times in the last couple weeks! Superb! I will be VJing more in future.

We left off with my album art for Skull System's Glacial. My next piece I want to share is yet another commission.

This is a soundcloud banner I made for Izzy Kai, who asked me to convey a portal where the horizon and ocean meet. Could this portal have some significance? You''l have to ask her. Something definitely seems to be waiting on the other side of those sweeping gates.

This is my behind the scenes thread and I do what I want, so I want to show what the forms/shader looked like before I edited them:

They were originally silver with a blue tint! Izzy's manager asked for blue, so I made em blue. But I still have a fondness for the silver version, so I wanted to share.

@NULLRAD and anyone else interested! Per your request, I made a rough breakdown of the project file for one of my recent artworks, I hope it brings you some help and/or joy! It was fun to just talk about how I do abstract art for a bit.

edit: take a shot every time I say "dynamic look" jesus fucking christ

Tried that, got a free trip to the hospital.

On another note:
Thank you for the video, genuinely the best source of info I've had in a while and I really appreciate the fact you bothered with it.
Seriously, thank you.

I'm sorry for the alcohol poisoning, but really happy I could help. I really enjoy knowledge sharing so hopefully I can make more of these in the future. I want to share Touchdesigner tips too!
