Little bummed I never shared any pictures of him sooner, but my family dog, Watson, had to be put down yesterday.
Illness sorta came out of nowhere. He lived to be 9, I got him when I was about 12 years old. I have an aunt who works with animals, and she helped raise him for a little bit before we got him. Been working out a lot of feelings in private, so I don’t wanna make a long, heartbreaking write-up about him lol. Just want to post a few pictures of him.
He was a very photogenic dog. But he also was one of those dogs that had those fucked up, human-looking eyes, so there’s a lot of really unflattering pictures of him too. Thought I’d give a holistic perspective on the kinda dog he was and include some uglier pictures lol. Everyone who met him loved him, arguably the best dog you could ever ask for in every way. Extremely well behaved, but still also had a lot of personality. We spoiled him a lot. Gonna miss him a bunch, but I’m glad he was here when he was.
(the smaller dog with the black nose in one of these photos is Wylie lol. that evil little fucker is still alive. maybe i’ll post some pictures of him too at a later date. he's great and special too. in his own way.)
