Underrated video games that you really enjoy?

one of my favorite indie games of the past few years has been kitten burst, a speedrunning/time trial type flight simulator (for the lack of a better term) about a cat in cyberspace working with a hacker to take down a megacorporation in a scifi world where cyberspace can be accessed via astral projection. its really pretty and the music rules so hard. surprisingly i have not seen it pick up any kind of traction outside of a very small niche on the internet despite it being tailor made for people who love aughts web aesthetics and think fondly of the pre-facebook internet
I did see that come by when it came out but the gameplay didn't look particularly fun so I never really dug into it properly, the style is pretty good though.

yeah the gameplay is definitely controller-centric and a bit jank im ngl. its definitely the weaker part of the game </3

Fossil Fighters & Spectrobes on the DS
Often labeled as "Pokemon" clones but so much more. Highly recommend giving them a try. Fossil fighters is a very silly but very enjoyable game. The mechanic of cleaning fossils effectively to result higher level dinos is great.
Spectrobes is more sci-fi but still has the fossil component to it. Leans more heavily into the narrative but creature designs and combat are far superior to pokemon imo.
