I Like Racing Jackets.

I really, really, really like racing jackets.

I guess this could be an Auto Discussion thread but idk, they're a general enough fashion statement & not necessarily connected to the cars themselves in certain contexts.

Anyways, post cool ones/your collection/whatever.



If you know me well enough, you know that I wear my Turbo Trans Am jacket literally every single day that I get the option.



Bonus: I've got the matching belt buckle, too.

Racing jackets are cool!

Both on and off topic, I personally always liked when fashion designers re-imagined the idea of a racing jacket, by either modifying its pattern for a much more relaxed and daily attire or modifying the pattern to exaggerate the silhouette of the jacket itself!

Ill provide a few examples below:
1) Balencaiga Spring 2024 Leather Biker Jacket
2) Vetements Spring/Summer 2016 Leather Biker Jacket (and pants)
3) Yohji Yamamoto Autumn Winter 1991 Leather Jacket (Biker-ish style could be said!)

Either way, I like the idea of styling biker jackets in super casual outfits (we talking full sweatpants and hoodie underneath it, but keep the biker boots with it), or the ones which play with the masculine and feminine elements (using rough biker jacket with more feminine top or bottom).
