call me basic but i love some of the shells for the tamagotchi connection re-releases, idk if it counts as modern tech but these just look so sick!

Fiio have a lot of sick audio gear, they recently dropped some sort of walkman-esque thing called the echo mini as well. Pretty affordable too for what it looks to be. Haven't gotten to use one though so no idea if the audio quality is any good.

This is so sick, but the 256GB limit is killing me. :( I have ~512GB of music right now, and its still growing. I think any other options are extremely expensive...

Just sort it in playlists and swap them out whenever. You don't need access to all of that at once I reckon.

I used to do this with my 160GB iPod back in the day, but sure enough, it randomly synced music to it, and I'd always be missing what I wanted to listen to. I'd say the need for all my music at once is more of a neurotic thing than anything; I just HAVE to have it all accessible.
