Wanted to start a thread for showing off any neat things you own! Mostly just anything in your collection that you deem special. This for all the physical media lovers.

Anything physical counts. Music, movie, books, art, whatever. For the first post, I'm personally just gonna stick to some of the music that I own. But you're free to post whatever!

I'll start with some CDs that I own...

I'm a big proponent of collecting CDs compared to other methods and mediums. Most of the music I listen to is on streaming, but I still like collecting regardless. I know vinyl has had a big resurgence in recent years, but I find that CDs sit perfectly between convivence and novelty for me. Sounds great, is easy to listen to, AND I can still hold it in my hands which is cool and awesome

There's nothing particular that makes these ones in particular special, they're just some of my favorite albums. And I find that the packaging for theses CDs are really nice. I hate paper sleeves. In the case of M-Flo's EXPO EXPO, the front cover has a lenticular printing thing going on that is really, really fun. There's a lot of cool inserts inside too. And when opening the CD on my computer, there's an exe in addition to the music that I have yet to try and run... Really cool stuff.

The other CDs are pretty standard, but they're some of my favorites albums, so I lumped them in anyways. I love Handsomeboy Technique's music, and owning it feels really special. I love Shibuya-Kei, so the Cymbals CD is hopefully just one of soon to be many. The CD for Pale Machine 1 & 2 is really cool too. I love Bo En.

Moving onto vinyls though... I'm not huge on vinyl, but I have a few.

I think I might've mentioned it before in another thread a long time ago... but I own a printing of Pale Machine's 10th Anniversary record that is signed by Bo En :) Probably one of my favorite items in my collection. I was super lucky to be able to get it signed. It's unfortunate that he signed the backside and with a kinda dull sharpy tho lol.

And this last one is a very interesting item lol. I've never actually watched Hello, Dolly, but I recognize the music from Wall E. It was my favorite Pixar movie when I was younger. Still is. I was at a strip mall / thrift store kinda thing one time, and there was a small store selling a bunch of really old vinyl. Lots of it was stuff being sold for less than a few dollars, lots of it unlabeled. Basically just a bunch of shelves of records that nobody wanted anymore. And on one shelf was this one sitting front and center amongst all the others, in surprisingly good condition. I got it for only $3! I probably would've been charged a bit more if they knew that this music was used in a really popular Disney property lol, but I'm glad I own it. It's just a fun, oddly particular kinda thing. It's fun to show when friends are over, cause most people recognize the music despite usually not knowing where it comes from. Pretty surreal to hear it played back in person.

That's all from me for now. Please show off any neat stuff that you own :)
