Have slowly been collecting stuff for a 2000's US army kit for airsoft. Finally found an LBV-88 Enhanced the other day.
All I need now is an ACH or PASGT helmet either surplus or reproduction. Kind of hard to come by in europe though. Mostly german stuff out here.
here is the full kit right now with a damaged Dutch M95 helmet (missing chinstrap)
Might need to get some extra pouches or a belt to hook onto the bottom of the LBV since its carrying capacity is kind of sad right now.
Still looking for a PASGT Helmet and M81 camo cover or an ACH helmet with its respectable cover.
Also discovered the LBV-88 has an attachment point for an ALICE belt and thus I can rig more shit to it.
Like these extra STANAG pouches
I also feel like im basically legally required to get one of these buttpacks
Though I have literally zero clue what I'd put in it.
For reference, this is basically THE stereotypical LBV-88 setup. Buttpack, 1 or 2 canteens. Extra mag pouches, grenade pouches since the vest only has two and they fucking suck to reach quickly and of course a knife.
You also have more modern setups like this one though, with a drop pouch and a modernized alice belt whilst still having an original rig.
Acog (aim-o) mounted, zeroed and covered up the rails (nuprol) since I kept cutting my hands open on them.
All that's left now is to break down the whole thing, shim the gearbox and put fresh grease in it.
Sounds simple enough but good lord I'm going to lose 9 hours of my life shimming that fucking thing.
All my comms equipment for my regular kit has arrived. Was a bit of fiddling but it's set up and quite nice for how dirt cheap it was.
Y-line kit made for the howard leight impact pro (with said ears) plugged into a Baofeng UV-5R.
