I've registered on this website for almost two years and I haven't done anything substantial on it besides exist. Today is the day that this changes! I'm vowing to post my work here from now on (hopefully) I think this community is super cool and it'll probably be helpful to post art in a less algorithmically centred social environment.

Here is the first piece I'm going to post, despite it being one year old I haven't really made anything this complete since but I'm making sure to change that.

So I was like halfway thru the blender donut tutorial and my shit just broke ? like the frosting on the donut just started clipping through the shits like wtf ? I was basically done so I'm just gonna go like fuck it and start making shit for reals now . Wish me luck y'all in gonna do great things .

I'm still pretty new to this type of art , do you guys have any tutorials / advice to give to a beginner whos just trying to get into metalheart and anything adjacent to it ? Anything helps thx .

Finished my first ever metalheart artwork . Its a fan cover for an Elysia Crampton bootleg called Elysian . Since my digital version of the bootleg didnt really have any intresting artwork so I wanted to make my own. My copy of the bootleg is somewhere on soulseek I'll give it if anyone is intrested .

Feedback is appreciated as always . Is there anything I should do for my next artwork ?

I redesigned my personal logo that will appear in my art instead of just plain-text hopefully . new one on the left , old one on the right .

Sick as fuck! What's your design process? How do you make these? Vectors? hand drawn? sketches turned into vectors? Been tinkering with my own workflow trying to learn this kind of design so I'm tryna gather as much info as I can on how people do it.

I first sketch like a design with simple lines just to get what my graphic should look like, then i translate my design onto inkscape and everything that i change is pretty much on the fly of what i think would look good in the moment .

I also be looking at HELLA pinterest like im on dat shit everyday . I also want to start using are.na too but the tech-bro-ish-ness really makes me apprehensive to try it .
