Wild to me just how much cooler the Japanese Dirge art is over all the other regions.
one of the two people who remember natural doctrine so i have an obligation to post its boxart
The North American cover for Mega Man 1 is infamous for being bad, but did you know that the European one actually kinda kicks ass? Absolute highlight of that style of box art
genki pls bring back my mech fighting games its been 20 years
(yes i picked the crustiest lores versions of these on purpose)
meant to post this like. idk a week ago but got sidetracked by video games
my dragonlance novels are arriving tomorrow and i've been playing the wizardry mobile game on my breaks at work. here's two
completely unrelated games
The original "Final Fantasy's" box art is a work of art, absolutely beautiful. Out of any video game, I would absolutely kill to have this piece on my wall as a poster.
I saw this on my dads shelf when I was about 10 and after playing it I can say it lived up to the hype.

These are just chefs kiss
I"m a bit biased as I love this game but both European & Japanese covers of Perfect Dark for N64 go hard as hell:
telling everyone you're the most famous hedgehog in the world on the box art of your very first game is beast mode. imagine if it flopped lmao
