What are you listening to right now?

remembered this song exists. this version's a lot better than what's on spotify imo

you ever hear the old line about the velvet underground that only 10,000 people bought their first album but all of them started a band? that's what scott miller's entire discography is like

I don't remember adding this album to my bandcamp wishlist, but it's a really cool synthpop album from 2008. Really lofi production, very nostalgic vibe for me as someone who listened to Owl City, Satellites and Sirens, PlayRadioPlay and similar bands back in the day.

that band is easily my favorite kessoku band song; it is such a earworm for me!

As for me, I've been getting back into metalcore and general -core related bands as I was tapped into the genere heavy in the early-mid 2010s but grew fatigued of it. I like where it has went.

the bocchi the rock songs are so good i can post them in a thread like this despite fearing the "only listens to video game and anime music" allegations

I'd agree 1000, within the core realm, we are in very very good times; also that Deliah track is sick! I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

RIP legend

delilah are great, their EP from last year is awesome. hoping the full length, whenever it comes out, is even better

tbh i found about this song / album / artist from Kenny Beats of all people. The sound of the album makes me feel like i'm driving through the countryside in a rundown 1990 Ford F150 after getting divorced twice and spilling beer onto my carpet from remembering my time in the military. 10/10 album, going to the be background soundtrack for the fall while i commute to my office job in my clean 2020 toyota camry.

They truly outdid themselves in every possible way. It feels like they've finally found their true, idiosyncratic sound. The songwriting I wasn't sold on at first, but the more I listen to it the more I'm completely enamored, it feels so much like Heavy Metal (singer Cameron Winter's solo album) but somehow?? better??? and at the same level?? I have no idea man. Every single instrument and sample is hard-panned and it sounds heavenly. How do they do it
