what was your worst commission you had to do?

I haven't had any really bad experiences, but there was one commissioner who wanted me to so all sorts of branding for their music and merch. I said yes to their commission due to the massive amount of money they promised, but in the end, due to various life circumstances on the client and my lack of shopify experience, it just didn't work out.

Another one was someone commissioning a logo from me who tried to pay me in gift cards????

A little update: a few months ago, I was approached with a company that started with a "J" for me to redesign their website to be more frutiger aero. I was initially intrigued, but asked them who they are. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of countless AI... "chatbot" sites.

Warning: NSFW descriptions, suggestive images: https://files.catbox.moe/1kh5dy.jpg

Needless to say, I rejected the offer. They tried to convince me with the site's popularity and that the use of AI isn't "bad" or whatever, but I didn't know how to respond, and forgot about it. (I didn't see the NSFW until after I rejected them) Later, they reached out offering a full-time job.
NO. THANKS.
Later, I was commissioned to do a huniepop clone game. I initially was on board before I learned what the client meant by "huniepop"...

I sent them the wikipedia article for "shower" and they quit responding.
