Entirely in the proportions. The length of the hood (I guess it’s not an engine bay, being an EV) is Batmobile length lol. It’s 100% a throwback to the original Jaguar E-Type.

Here’s the spy pics of their actual car btw. I at least assume this is the intended for production model, and it’s got a lot of things the concept is missing.

The silhouette of this vehicle is fantastic but that material is absolutely not. Jaguar has no clue what the hell they are doing and frustrating as it is to see the usual suspects moan about “the evils of woke”, they quit selling all vehicles for a year, are recalling their previously released EVs due to battery fires, and are running an ad campaign that has no audience whatsoever. They needed a perfect win and decided that they couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. Insane.
it's heartbreaking and beyond frustrating. Non-car people are either complaing of "woke", or bragging, arms crossed, "Well, it got you talking about them " or "No such thing as bad press!". There is such thing as bad press, and it's the kind that doesn't convert into any fucking sales. They are chasing a market they have no chance in, for an audience they will not win over. If that version of the concept ever hits the market (it won't), it will be for a tax bracket most people aren't in.

Idk. I really love Jaguars past cars, so to see this prestigious brand flounder just makes me sad. Seeing them chase already dated trends, idk. Maybe they will be joining Saturn, Pontiac, and Saab before the end of this decade.

So at the end of this month Alfa Romeo officially begins phasing out the ICE Giulia in favor of a (presumably hybrid) crossover model. I so desperately want to get my hands on one of these, man. Possibly the best sports sedan on the market, criminally overlooked.

i have loved the new gr86 a lot, but it hasn't come in any color packages that excite me.. until now. i love this. the kit doesn't do much for me, but i am sure if it had some better wheels (aka anything not black), it would look fantastic regardless.

the new GR86 yuzu edition! unfortunately, it will be limited to 860 units for North America. there goes any dream of getting one, especially in this economy and with the oncoming tariffs..

i guess i will just admire from afar. sigh. love this color.

The more I see of the new Honda Prelude the more I want to drive one.

I have my doubts. Many, many doubts. (It can't even get a gear shifter? At all?)

But idk. I think for the price point they're targeting this is a car I want to at the very least give a fair shake. My ultimate, ideal $30kish car is a lightly used Alfa Romeo Giulia, but also there's no way I could afford 95 octane for every fill-up and I do just really love how this car looks.

i wish the styling cues gave more callbacks to previous preludes, but it is still nice looking, and i am just happy honda is finally producing a coupe again. the headlights and taillights look way too similar to the new prius (which is also a good looking car, but still). love the interior they've shown on this, it looks fantastic. also excited to see once this comes out, how it looks lowered and on some wider wheels.

so confused by no manual option; i get automatics are the most popular trim, but this car is obviously aimed for more of the enthusiast crowd, so it's weird to not offer one. especially since they do have other cars on their lineup that do have manuals.

my pipe dream is that this car can get the Si or Type R treatement. i just wanna see it happen. especially a type r variant......

ngl i REALLY dont understand it being CVT, makes zero sense given the enthusiast crowd this is targeting will not want that.

like to me its just going to end up being a FWD sports coupe with an annoying transmission that's more expensive, yet slower than a BRZ. like WHO is this for. (also the uninspired styling makes this worse)

also since i'm back

just seen one parked in the street, although it is awful in just plain white and the car seems bigger in person (way bigger than the original renault 5)
