ntt art thread
I will follow tee's lead and post all of my art in this thread from now on!
I might also post some WIP art and some exclusives for the real ones .
(That is, if I don't forget )

For some backstory, I'm ntt! I'm a developer by trait, and I've been doing art as a hobby since late 2023.
I love seeing all the amazing art this community has to offer, and hope to contribute with my own silly pieces.

Starting with...​

Made this trying to learn Affinity Designer/Photo. The picture is one I took on a walk to the top of a hill near to where I live. I used to go there a lot as a kid.
It's an artificial hill made completely out of debris from digging coal mines a long time ago. Now it's one of the nicest spots around!

Wanted to lean into mixed media a little bit, I definitely plan to do more!

"Ghostmetal" + inv

Been a while since I've last posted something! I wanted to put all my focus on the typography for this one. I'm really happy with the result, and definitely wanna continue improving my typography skills. The Affinity tools made the process so much fun too :D.

"Chasing Clouds"

I went on holiday to Italy last week, and took a bunch of pictures there, keeping in mind that I wanted to use them for an artwork. This is that artwork :).

I've been meaning to do some mixed media again! Had lots of fun with it last time, so I had to give it another go .
Oftentimes I come up with a title before making most of the artwork. This was one of those times. Knowing the title so far in advance really helped me determine a clear direction I wanted to take the artwork in. In this case, I wanted to theme the artwork around the creative process. Hope you enjoy!

"STASiS" + type

Been a while, huh? Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, I've just been very busy with school is all...
Very excited to finally put something out again. This one's very much an experiment, trying to combine some old techniques with new inspirations.
Didn't know if it was go anywhere, I was about ready to drop the project, but I regained some motivation and even ended up making a type for it in the process!

"Origin" + interface

Celebrating one year of ntt!
Thanks you to everyone who has supported me over the last year. I can't believe how far I've come and I've only just begun. Love y'all <3.

This one has been in the works for a long time. I failed to find inspiration, so I just kept it in a folder somwhere and didn't touch it. It took a completely new form to spark some ideas, after which I finished it in a few evenings. Enjoy!

"nv" + dark ver.

This one started with a title, a play on "envy", which I had been sitting on for a while. I finally came up with a type, and the rest of the design followed. I kept a 180° symmetry troughout the whole design, so if you flip it upside down it will look (roughly) the same! I kept the interface quite simple, so I managed to finish this in a bit over a day. Hope y'all like it :).

Includes a deskGen exclusive dark version ;).

Kind of low effort, but I wanted to try something different and I had fun with this :). Picture taken outside my school when the sun was setting and there were a ton of airplane trails in the sky. Really pretty irl, not so impressive in the picture.
