I'm honestly surprised that a Sonic fan was able to make a tool that recompiled the code for Sonic Unleashed to run natively on any Windows/Linux PC released within the last 15 years. It can't be understated how impressive of a feat this is. Sonic fans keep feeding us good.

The tool this Sonic fan created could theoretically recompile the source code from ANY Xbox 360 game to run natively on modern PC's. I'm excited to see more source code recompilations of other games.

100%. This port of Unleashed is magnificent in its own right but the tooling they've put together is the real star of the show. By their own description this is going to take heavy retooling for each game you'd like to target, but I'd have to imagine this is still a heavy step in the right direction no matter what.

Exactly! I hope games like Ninja Gaiden 2 and other games locked to the Xbox 360 can get some source code recompilations
