That's right gang. New car, new car thread. Traded in the Aura for something a little bit nicer today, a 2015 Scion tC.

This thing rules. More on it as I'm free to share, lol.

So far:
- this car is absolutely lowered and I think the dealership put tires that are slightly too large on it. I’m hearing a tiny bit of rubbing on extreme turns and for some reason, at initial acceleration
- I kinda wonder if my window tint is legal
- I have aftermarket interior lighting that looks fantastic
- And I think it’s tuned? But I’m not entirely sure. Would track.

Anyways, it’s a blast. Every single car wash in town is closed so I’ll take the nice photos after I can get in one of them.

- dealer provided tires are larger than the spec on the driver's door : )
- window tint is extremely illegal
- had a wildly fun conversation with the dealer explaining both of these things

Where does that put you re:the tint, are you on the hook for it? Did the dealer cover it?

Actually just got off the phone on that one. I get the feeling that the salesman genuinely just doesn't want to do his job & I've been stuck with a rookie. He claims he can't do anything about it, the tint place in town quoted me at $50 to remove it. I could choose to pursue legal action (because I am in the right) as per the Ohio Revised Code, their tinted window guidelines state that selling a vehicle with it is flat out illegal and I have ground to pursue a complaint here.

But also, I can swing $50 and save myself a lot of arguing. I can be right on the principle here but I just don't have it in me to fight right now. I still think I'll pursue complaints with his supervisors to get him reprimanded when I'm back from vacay tho, there's a framed picture of me and my mom in the main office of that network lol. The guys running it are very very good people (but they've got equally busy schedules).
