i have developed a newfound respect for the color green lately. very pleased with how this one came out :)

This one was supposed to be apart of a much larger and cooler drawing (was gonna be the aged-up/10 Years Later version of the previous drawing) but I could never figure out anything I was happy with. Had too many big ideas. Turns out, your art can suffer sometimes if you try to hard, or expect too much of yourself. Sometimes less is more!!! Sometimes simpler is better!!!! SOMETIMES your art can be a little bit better if you let yourself care a little less and just chill out!!! This drawing isn't perfect and there's a little bit of slop and jank in there but it's better than whatever it was before so WHO CARES!!!!!

Just a little somethin while I slllowwwwlly come out of a period of creative burnout. Doing something new and different usually does the trick when I'm feeling like this. I took some inspiration from Mineko Ueda's work for this one (Known for being the character designer for the Boku no Natsuyasumi games). I'm in the middle of playing Boku no Natsuyasumi 2 right now, her art style is really fun and I'm loving the game rn. I might make a little thread about the game once I'm done with it and share my thoughts, I've been really liking it. Great choice of game now that it's summer. Hopefully I do get around to finishing it though lol, been too distracted lately. Anyways... thank you for reading :) bye bye

When I was a kid, I had a dream where I met some weird-looking entity that followed me everywhere, but ended up pretty chill, going fishing with me and doing parkour (hell yeah). Idk why but I still remember how great this dream felt, and how cool it was to hang out with my ghost buddy. Your art makes me remember the dream again and gives me this warm, summer vibe I cherish. Shoutout Claire and Z'orthelheb!!!

Thank you!! That’s an awesome dream lol. I’m glad my art resonated with you like that. I try hard to reflect certain ideas and stuff that are really personal to me through my art and characters, so I’m never sure if what I make “makes sense” to others the same way it does to me. So I’m really glad you’re able to connect with it in your own way like that. Means a lot :)

Also, yeah, funny coincidence lol. Boku No Natsuyasumi is worth checking out if you’re interested. I’ve been playing the game through the fan made English patch that was released recently. Really easy to set up. You can probably find a tutorial online through a quick google search, def recommend if you’re at all interested :)

4 years ago today I made my characters, Z’orthelheb & Claire. (Which also makes today Claire's canonical birthday)

Here’s the first drawing I made of them…



Today means a bunch to me. They’ve come a long way since then and my life’s changed a lot since then too.

I have a lot more thoughts that I could share, but I’ll spare you and refrain from sharing that long write-up here. However, I did make a special little illustration to celebrate today. I’m not totally happy with it, but I thought it was more important to make something to celebrate today rather than nothing at all

That’s it. Today definitely means more to me than it does anyone else, but thank you for reading anyways. I’m busy with Art Fight rn and I may update this thread with some of the art I’ve done for it. Idk, we’ll see. Okay bye bye :)
