recently released melodic prog metal album
holy shit the choruses in here are phenomenal. it's like a mix of Widek, Halo Effect and Reconciliation by ALMO. definitely gonna check out their other albums.
favorite track is Seed of the Night
i saw the mounds of hyperbolic acclaim that last magbay album got and resolved not to check them out because there's Just No Way, but my defenses are cracking
It's really, really good. Any great album's gonna have overblown reception at this point because nobody can just say "it's really good!" anymore, but I love it. Can also heavily recommend Chaeri off Mercurial World. After seeing them live like half their discog's stuck in my head and very much elevated with the energy they bring on stage.i saw the mounds of hyperbolic claim that last magbay album got and resolved not to check them out because there's Just No Way, but my defenses are cracking
Yo, that intro fuckin' HITS, goddamn. Gotta throw this one in the workout mix.
alright andy can attest that I really am bored by a lot of modern production/tone on popular -core bands but this track actually goes so fucking stupid that I might give the rest of the album a listen soon
"soon" was immediately after posting and it was solid. starts and ends strong but idk how often i'd feel like listening to it in full. as far as slickly produced metalcore goes they're still probably one of the better bands doing italright andy can attest that I really am bored by a lot of modern production/tone on popular -core bands but this track actually goes so fucking stupid that I might give the rest of the album a listen soon
I've had In Flames pop up on my YouTube recommended every now and then (my YouTube music recommendations are 🔥) and I still haven't listened to any of their albums yet for some reason. Probably should check them out
