I think the two most inspirational artists for me right now are Death & Milk, and Steven Zapata. Zapata for his art meditations and streams, D&M for just being a brilliant designer.

Been having an itch to make poster stuff lately so this poster by steph shueyan lau has been on my mind @_@;

Going to galleries around my city and when I travel is what gets me the most motivated to make more. Seeing and meeting artists - connecting with them - absolutely energizes me. A current favorite Chicago artist that inspired me a lot is Lie. He has his first solo show in a few years coming up next weekend.

album/song jackets. a lot of them
one of the reason why most of my designs are done in square formats is because of this, and album jackets usually are a great practice at using visual to summarize things/vibe of the particular album, and also just overall visual on some of these are absolutely killer
