SO PRETTY!!

I really like the colours and the feeling of depth and dimensionality in this one. And it definitely looks like a beautiful wind cave lit by harsh afternoon sun.

originally I think I wanted to recreate ring marks on prehistoric rock art to try and mimic a photo of a brilliant big chunk of red phosphorus with big long valley-like streaks on it (I can't find the photo D: sad) but it turned...into something else entirely lol

Feeling proud of these few renders I just finished.
I was suffering for more than a month modeling this mess and trying to make it work afterward. I would never attempt to model something like this, but I had no choice as I couldn't find any models on the net that I can buy\download. But this little guy is too good looking and I really wanted to create something with it.

I wasn't sure if I could carry this project to the end, but It turned out I could, so I'm feeling pretty proud and relieved, haha.

I recently connected with kęnåi from Buenos Aires (@y3000w on instagram) - their macro photography is immaculate. We began talking and developed a few collaborative works, the first of which we posted today!

Y'all should really check out their work on instagram, it's amazing.

I always try something new in each of my artworks, and this time i used a metaball + cell fracture to make the 3d forms instead of the normal curves displacement method i used.
That, and i went a little more crazy and less perfectionist with the UI lol
