hello! i needed a place to actually post things without worrying about numbers and algorithms and shit - so here is a thread for lossless uploads of my art, and maybe some explanations behind the scenes on how i make some of my works

this is an art about "too much" - wanting too much, doing too much, trying too much - we live in a world where everything is so interconnected and so within our reach and yet we are more isolated than we've ever been, and we are getting so much information that it feels genuinely overwhelming
i've been thinking about this a lot and i wanted to express this feeling through this, so if you're interested you can go and read all the tiny text scattered around the art, they reflected my current thinking about how i'm feeling about this overloaded world and feelings

this was very inspired by the song of same name by a band i really love called hitorie - and in the song, one of the lyrics mentioned that "the real answers are, nobody, nothing, understands anything" - do we really know what we are doing, or are we just sleepwalking without directions trying to figure it all out with our eyes closed?
i almost always do at least one piece every month taking direct inspiration from songs, and i really like doing it - when you have just a vague sense of ideas and then trying to flesh out what you feel/see listening to song, its a very good practice to train my idea brain and also execution
also taking some direct inspiration from chinese/japanese graphic designs cus they are super fucking pretty

metalheart forever, that's all - just wanted to work on a full-on metalheart art for fun
also learned to incorporate camera raw filters into my workflow thanks to fellow dG member gaus

enjoying / learning to push out lots of details in short span of time, as well as training on how to make the tiny details make sense or look nice. thought the "bubbles" kinda represented something the permeates through things and the left to right composition reminds me of osmosis so i just named it that
more of a practice piece than a real piece but i enjoyed working on it thoroughly
ZEETTTTTHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZZEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW DO THEY DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a pun on dystopia (disc + dystopia), mainly trying to convey about a dystopia of information corruption - REALLY put in a lot of effort in exploring sci-fi flat HUDS in the style that can be seen on designers like noisivy and Takada (to try and convey the things i want to convey using visuals), and i feel like i have improved a LOT after the completion of this art - definitely one of if not by best work i've ever done this year

i jumped onto this one without any ideas or thoughts so i was struggling a little bit to finish this one off - it was mainly just to train myself to come up with ideas sometimes and it is definitely difficult when you have nothing planned in mind and just going with the flow. wasnt too confident with this one but i think i made it work somehow LOL but yea enjoy an alternate version here aswell because you all deserved it
