Suggestion Auto-refresh

I was wondering if there's a way to add an auto-refresh for the front page, forum posts and notification bell so we don't have to keep hitting F5 to check for updates?

Nothing built into XenForo as far as I'm aware. A basic script that just refreshes the homepage every ~5 minutes could possibly do the trick but unfortunately applying that universally would be a bad idea. Very costly on our pageviews.
