Yo, ShanghaiRabbit here. I'm a loser from the southern US of A. Call me Alice, Bun, or Shanghai, but just leave the Monekey in the cage. If you know, you know.

Display name has two main sources of inspiration. Shanghai specifically comes from Touhou Project (東方Project). The creator of this series is ZUN, the sole member of the dev group Team Shanghai Alice. This is where the Shanghai in ShanghaiRabbit comes from. There is also a doll in Touhou whose name is Shanghai, and is puppeted by Alice Margatroid.

The second part of my username, Rabbit, is a very loose reference to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. As typically, Rabbits are heavily associated with it, I settled on that.

And thus are the two parts of my username. For more personal details, I've been questioning my gender identity for several years now, I'm AMAB, but I currently lean feminine on the non-binary spectrum. Alice is the name I prefer to go by, at the moment.
