im a somewhat amateur blender artist trying to improve my skills and lean more into making cool visuals and vfx for projects
interested in motion graphics, graphic design, animation, character design and music production
other programs i use are photoshop, premiere pro and fl studio
currently learning blender, godot and fl studio (aftereffects not yet)

hobbies:
i like grinding difficult games, usually shmups, bullet hells and soulslikes
achievement hunter, aiming for 100% achievements clears
i often listen to music while working, playing videogames or whenever i get time to listen to something (post-hardcore, metalcore, post-rock etc)
interested in literature

working on a big project whose title im not ready to reveal yet
somewhat new to the metalheart scene
probably going to set up a proper portfolio/bio in the near future when i improve my skills as an artist lol

hiya, my name's luciii or luciii.dll/lucana (i got by a lot)!!

i'm a somewhat new neoy2k/metalheart artist, having only gotten into the medium around march 2024. im always looking to learn and try out new styles and tricks to improve my work, so i'd adore any feedback you might have for me :3
i started using photoshop mainly, but have recently been getting to grips with affinity photo. i'm also learning blender (granted at a very slow pace) ^^

i'm also a writer and director for many Undertale fangames, most notably my own fangame titled Undertale Icebound. aside from those, i also like to write lore and stuff for my ocs sometimes, which i make inside koikatsu c:

i love to play a multitude of games, my favourites being the need for speed series and sonic the hedgehog (thats one of the reasons i got into this!!)
outside of gaming stuffs i love to get out and about and travel to places unknown to me, while practicing photography when i can!!
i'm into a lot of different kinds of music and i listen to it very regularly, with my fav genres being metal/rock. notable fav bands of mine are MotionlessInWhite, Sleep Token, and Asking Alexandria :3

My name is Lin or Neu (they/them) aka neudaiz of this fabled "desktop generation" group some people might have heard of....

I like a lot of things and do a lot of things so I tend to struggle a lot with introductions. I do digital art and I'm very interested in creative coding/generative art, having experimented with Touchdesigner, Tooll3, and Processing at various points. Lately I mess a lot with Blender too. Outside of that I work in tech, travel fairly often, enjoy music and am trying to get into DJing, and play the occasional game.

I contain multitudes and I'm sure in my time Posteing here people will learn plenty more about my weird and diverse array of interests and quirks.

i make silly little pieces of art in some loose attempt to capture a feeling or a time. i use blender, jwildfire, and affinity photo. i'm also a part of desktopGeneration !!!

i spend unhealthy amount of time on twitter and noticed a lot of desktop gen projects from mutuals+randoms so might as well register here as well. Anyway some stuff about me. Fan of different kinds of video games like Boomer shooters, metrovanias, tetris (mainly tetrio rn), and other single player games. My old fingers and reflects can't compete against youngsters in multiplayer games so im sticking with singleplayer. My day job is software but outside that, i'm do alot of graphic + poster + album design. Also i'm weeb so a crap ton of my current work is anime. My music palette consists of hip hop, electronic toaster noises, and anime openings.

heyo I'm Kat, aka clump. I am just a silly little entity trying to exist in this scary, scary world. I haven't been on a forum like this since I was like half my own age but I'm working on getting over online social anxiety and wanna see the cool stuff y'all make so here I am!!

I like arts n crafts. Usually illustration (CSP or Procreate depending on where I am, OCs and fan art), occasionally some 3D stuff (Blender, metalheart and.. whatever). Every so often I get really into some sort of handicraft for like a week and then I drop it for a few months, right now I'm working on crocheting a Takopi amigurumi.

I can't make music with anything other than my vocal chords but I sure do like listening to it. Here's a link to my Spotify playlist.
I like playing games and watching other people play games, especially people with anime avatars. Right now I'm playing Lies of P, OFF, and Reverse:1999.
I also really like JRPGs, rhythm games, sandbox games, and co-op survival type stuff.

I'm a programmerrrr I went to school for graphic design, game dev, and full stack web dev and am currently working towards a ServiceNow certification. Hopefully one of these days a tech company will respond to my application with an offer for a job interview. The grind never ends.

I'm Zenyx (she/her) and I'm an illustrator who has been drawing in 2D for years, now recently graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of my city in Graphic Arts. I decided to learn 3D art and I just started experimenting with Blender so ofc I'm still a beginner XD I'm learning 3D mainly to make backgrounds for my illustrations but also occasionally to make abstract art in y2k style. I really love the aesthetics of the early 2000s because they remind me a lot of my childhood and adolescence and I would really like to be able to replicate these styles to be able to express my feelings of nostalgia for the good old days <3

I decided to join this forum because I would like to be more open to other people and overcome my shyness joining to a good community of artists who allow me to grow not only artistically but also personally, in addition to the fact that I have been following Desktop Generation on social media for a few years. Hey! I'm orels1.
I started my career as a web developer and designer, but somehow drifted towards gamedev over time, and now I ended up doing tech art (mainly shaders) and Game Engine tooling (Unity Editor stuff).

I recently stumbled upon desktop gen bluesky account and ended up falling in love with the overall vibe and the art this community creates.
Besides shaders I do quite a bit of hardsurface modeling in blender that usually feeds my little environments I put together in Unity. I'm also the go-to guy for unwrapping and weight painting among my friends

Beyond all of that - love rhythm games, rouguelikes and boomer shooters of all kinds.

I'm not great at pure art, so here's my little attempt at showcasing what ive been working on in the last little bit. Shaders are pretty hard to showcase in images, so I tried to see if an animated WEBP would work 🤔
