Thanksgiving has been fantastic. I’m snowed in an hour away from home and trapped drinking nice bourbon & watching James Bond.

Worse things have happened, tho the deskGen seasonal update will have to wait until I can use a computer.

Got back from visiting family for the holidays a few hours ago. 6+ hour drive is rough, even when you're splitting the driving time with someone else.

Good to see family, even if things got hectic as always. Very happy to be back home.

Today I slept in. Which after yesterday, think I’ve earned. Sold about a thousand tickets to our lil indie theatre and I’ve loved it but am exhausted. Live show tonight that I’m looking forward to though, first I’ve run as theatre manager.

been going out for drinks with some friends recently, pretty nice to be not houserotting constantly

woke up and ordered a pizza first thing in the morning to be picked up while on my meal break at work which is an unusual level of planning on my part. next ill be able to comprehend things like "if you save money now you can afford bigger purchases later" or something like that

got off the phone with financial aid at uni to figure out what i'm supposed to about all the student govt. loans i took on by mistake, having basically been instructed to do so since i didn't know any better and was just doing what it seemed like i was being told

they said "yep not our problem anymore lol sorry nerd"

$20,000 debt

i'm done

got out of a meeting with my scholarship advisor and the dept. head of financial aid

i am officially $19,088 in student debt
