The latter end of 2022 was a weird transitional period for my art where I realized I wanted to make more stuff but was kind of hitting a wall but I still have some stuff from that time I want to share because I think it shows an interesting shift!

This one's pretty minimal but I still want to share it because I think it's cute, I have Feelings about how people use the words "frutiger aero" these days but before it popped off in the way it has, this was my attempt at trying to mimic the feelings I get from wallpapers etc in that style. I wanted it to be light and airy, and made it half blue and half "blurple" because I couldn't decide which vibe I wanted to stick to more. I never finished it, but I still think it's nice.

This was a collab with my friend articution for artbyform's all nighter 7 event! I had always wanted to try allnight but was anxious so we teamed up. He did the logo typography and we brainstormed the general direction together, while I made and composited the renders and "UI elements" you see here. It's guava flavoured, we decided this. A few music artists reached out and asked if they could use this as a cover art for their tracks they made, which meant a lot to me!

This was my first attempt at artwork inspired by the "vectorheart" style/movement, like the two above this was also a form made in touchdesigner and I attempted to give it more of a flat shaded, vector inspired look. It's messy, I fixed none of the clipping, and it's far from my best, but I can't help but feel a warmth towards it anyways because it was the start of a lot more experiments in this style.

This one's a bit different and it's significant because... this was the first ever render I made using Blender! It was created for the art week events we were hosting in the Hypertrance discord server at the time. I was having trouble getting something going that I felt fit the theme and my girlfriend suggested I give B;ender a try and walked me through some basics. Honestly, I think it turned out pretty awesome. I also don't think I'll ever get tired of sky motifs.
