i've lowkey been an unemployed NEET for the past year, but I got a regular job where I have to talk to people over the phone all day and it's actually been ok! my coworkers are p cool and I showed them my games/art and they thought it was cool (˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )

Been a wild ride for me over the past few weeks. Lost a bunch of money from my Jan/Feb contracts getting cancelled, then suddenly I'm single for the first time in years. So anyways, I've been helping out at the old job over the past few days and I think it's exactly what I needed. I get to surround myself with very good friends who I haven't been able to talk to as much as I'd like, make some extra cash, and do work that's physically intensive enough to just completely clear my head. Literally no thoughts, head empty. My battery's dead and somehow it feels... refreshing?

Came out as trans offically to my parents last night (and I guess offically here, heyo! Girl now), they took it well in the way of "we're supportive and are here for you" but were kinda cautious in the way of "we're still confused". Dad even described it as "It feels like I've lost a son, but gained something in return. But I still feel a loss" which is kinda eeehhh but I know they'll come around. They still love me, and I still love them.

Been a solid couple of days lately. Week started off incredibly warm and sunny and that recharged my battery.

i got my first actual somewhat taste of a hit tweet overnight and it feels . ah, weird .really weird ..
it's nice, don't get me wrong ,but im just kinda.. numb to it .. it's always the effortless meme or trend pieces i barely care about that get hundreds of likes - in this case THOUSANDS, which are INSANE numbers to wrap your head around - while all of my best pieces get an average of 14 likes and one retweet out of pity ... but that be the social media life - search for trends, connect the dots and use them to your advantage to gain more and more traction.. . we go on, at least there's people who like my art enough to warrant a few mouse clicks so that's definitely still something to be grateful for
